From June to September, the humpback whales of the Antarctic come to enjoy the warm seas of the Indian Ocean to calve.
The calves gain up to 50 kilograms in weight per day during the first months of their lives.
They frolic in the bay, enjoying the warmer water while growing stronger, before making returning to the icey waters of the South pole.
